Any Terrain Any Time! The Jetstream comes out tops as an All-Terrain Off-road Trailer. With its light weight of 570kg and low centre of gravity, the Jetstream XT Off-roader doesn’t bury itself in extreme conditions and is easily pulled through and over challenging obstacles. The front and back bull bars work in unison and allow the Jetstream to be manhandled out of radical situations where other 4×4 tow vehicles may be permanently destroyed. Zero breakages were experienced during experiments.
The chassis is manufactured with galvanized thick-walled square tubing, and all holes are tubed for maximum strength.
In South Africa, where the Teardrop Trailer concept has experienced a tremendous upsurge in recognition, there’s been much debate about what defines it. The answer to this is simple. If it’s not lightweight, or if it’s square, it’s not a Teardrop!
Back in the 1930s, these popular post-war trailers for their resemblance to a teardrop. Being very lightweight, it was economical to tow and created an uplifting and fun way for people to enjoy the outdoors again after the War years. Teardrop Trailers brought “smiles” as they do today!

Jetstream manufactures on a first-come-first-served basis. Each one is custom built to our client’s spec and and for this reason, we do not carry stock. Our current lead time is between 12 and 14 weeks. If you’re planning a mid-year getaway, we would strongly suggest you get onto our build schedule sooner than later.
